OSUGA Cuddly Bird Review by Viens Pour Toi

Cuddly Bird is both a suction and vibration toy… but strangely, not at the same time. 

Let's start with my preferred mode: “Suction” vibrators (sometimes called sonic, pleasure air, or air pulse) like the Cuddly Bird aren’t quite as intuitive as your average bullet vibrator. These vibrators are intended for use on the external glands of the clitoris; the nozzle of the vibrator is placed over the head of the clitoris, or slightly above or below, depending on what you like.

Before trying the Cuddly Bird Vibrator, I applied a little bit of water-based lube (I went with my Coconu) on and around my clit. This let me glide the toy easily across my skin until I found juuuust the spot. Because the nozzle of the Cuddly Bird is a little smaller than other similar toys, like the Lora DiCarlo Baci, it was extra important for me to find *just* the right place.. It can be harder to find the best point of stimulation with a smaller nozzle toy, but the payoff is more targeted and intense stimulation (less surface area covered = extra intense result, in my experience). The other downside of a smaller nozzle is that it won’t accommodate all clit sizes. In using the suction function, I found the sensation to be more buzzy than deeply resonant. If you prefer buzzy bullet vibrators over rumbly wands, there’s a good chance you’ll like the stuttery (in a good way) suction of the Cuddly Bird more than the cathedral-bell resonance of other more powerful suction vibes. While I love a good deep stimulation, I still really enjoyed the Cuddly Bird. Other reviewers have reporting that it hurts their clit, but I haven’t found that to be true (note: could be a difference in anatomy causing problems for some but not others).

Now, the other functionality: the vibration. To me, it’s quite strange that these two modes can’t be used at the same time. The vibration is buzzy and comes through the silicone nicely; if you like the buzz of a bullet vibratory but want a softer, squishier toy, Cuddly Bird is for you. 

Overall, this toy is made of high quality materials, has a cute design that feels light and playful and a targeted, buzzy stimulation. If you know you like buzzy bullets and want to try suction for the first time, the Cuddly Bird is probably a good option. Even if you don’t end up loving the feeling of the suction, you still have a totally useable vibrator!
